Press Conference: Novel Tamil School Projects Supported By Selangor Government
In its effort to address poor performance of Tamil school children, Selangor State Goverment had allocated RM 4M for 97 Tamil schools in Selangor. A sum of RM 1.6M was given to three NGOs as grants to undertake innovative programmes.
This press conference will be addressed by the representatives from the State Goverment, Parliament members and participating NGOs. The issues include, transparency and accountability of the funds, explanation on the programmes and interaction between programme initiators and media.
