Satu Malaysia Rakyat Di Tipu Ekonomi "Palsu"

United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations
WASHINGTON, DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry (D-MA) released the following statement today about Former Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim:

“I call on the government of Malaysia, and specifically on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, to ensure a fair and equitable resolution of the legal proceedings currently under way against former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

“It has been over a decade since Anwar's first trial, on charges that were later overturned by the Federal Court.  The current charges closely mirror the

Banners and Bilboards Need Local Council Approval

MPK made the right decision in bringing down the banner/bill board welcoming the PM to Pandamaran.

PR has no problem welcoming and inviting him to Selangor, but does the PM want us to flaunt the law and allow his giant sized banner to be put up on an illegal structure.

The land belongs to the state and no permission has been given nor have the Council received any application from anyone for bill board erection.

The PM supporters, if they are sincere, must be thankful that we are saving the PM an embarrassing situation. Surely he does not want to be asked why illegal methods are used to promote his visit. Without doubt our PM would not want to be thought above the law in all matters small or big.
THE NEED FOR SEX EDUCATION

The recent case of the newborn baby found dead inside a rubbish bin in Kuala Krai, is just the tip of the iceberg. It depicts serious underlying problems which plague our youth in society today.

The issue needs to be addressed with a holistic point of view that takes into account all parties involved. We must not jump to conclusions and condemn the mothers of these unwanted babies, by calling them cruel and accusing only the mothers guilty of loose morals.

At present these young mothers are throwing away their babies in this manner because they fear repercussions if their pregnancies are revealed to their parents or to the authorities. They know the authorities will come down hard on them. To call them cruel is a serious lack of empathy for the desperation that leads a young mother to abandon her baby.

Why hasn’t the PM taken Nasir to task?

Aliran is totally disgusted with the way certain so-called political leaders behave and express themselves, completely ignoring the reality of this country and dismissing the history of this land. Without a care, they spew filth from their dirty mouths and seem hell-bent on creating havoc.

It is rather unfortunate that our top leaders do not castigate them or take them to task for the harm they are likely to cause to the unity of the various communities. They are very dangerous and can create misery for the majority of Malaysians who do not approve the conduct of these troublesome elements – in fact most Malaysians condemn such unscrupulous behaviour.

The latest outpouring of venom comes from the very top, from someone close to the Prime Minister himself. His top aide, Datuk Nasir Safar, threw caution to the winds, revealed his puerile mind and uttered some rubbish that is not supported by facts.

I am shocked with the report of NST today which titled "PKR ready to refer Lim Guan Eng to Pakatan Rakyat".

I deeply regret that NST has maliciously misquoted my statement. Upon reading the news, I called the reporter to seek clarification. Subsequently he admitted over the phone that the line was not written by him and it has been inserted by the editor.

I hereby call on the NST to take immediate action to correct the misrepresentation of PKR's stance on this issue.

In my phone interview, I unequivocally said that YB Dato' Seri Zahrain is wrong to lash out at CM Lim Guan Eng. I stressed that inter-party relations and complaints should be brought up in Leadership Council of Pakatan Rakyat.
I have never said that PKR will refer Zahrin's criticism against Lim Guan Eng into the discussion of Pakatan Rakyat leadership. In fact I maintained that such move is unnecessary and inappropriate.
