50,000 for Kinrara school

In between campaigning in Bukit Selambau, I managed to rush back for the cheque presentation ceremony in Puchong Indah. The State government donated RM 50,000 to SJK(T) Ladang Kinrara, Puchong's building fund. This is the second major donation following the RM 120,000 that was donated to SJK(T) Ladang Highlands, Klang.

The cheque presentation ceremony that was held in Puching Indah was Phase 2 out of 3 phases for donations to religious places of worship and tamil schools.

Dr Xavier brought up the following :-

All 98 Tamil schools in Selangor received donations ranging between RM 10,000 and RM 3,000 depending on the number of students the school had.

Roughly 130 religious places of worship received their cheques ( these were the 2008 applications received before 10th dec 2008)

All current and future applications for funds from the State government, have to get Letters of Support or (surat sokongan) from their respective ADUNs.
