Voting at Permatang Pauh

5.oopm UPDATE : All is calm in Permatang Pauh, exit polls showing Anwar in the lead. Rumours abound that PM Abdullah Badawi has already left Penang, because BN has lost.

Dr Xavier Jayakumar and his team from Sri Andalas will only be making the long drive home tonight after the results are announced. We remain confident and optimistic that Anwar Ibrahim will be sworn into Parliament tomorrow.

Heres my take!

DSAI will win but the Speaker will delay DSAI's swearing into the next Parliament session effectively barring DSAI from entering Parliament into Oct.

Expect a worst turn of events over the sodomy court case which is in Sep!

Entrenched and corrupted people will do their best to stop DSAI from stepping foot into Parliament!

We must FIGHT!!!!

if that's the case, they might as well using the ISA to retain DSAI.
